Lost? Confused? Looking for the map to this place? Below are some common answers to common questions. If you don't find what you're looking for, head on over to our support board to ask a specific question.
Q.What year is it? A. It is 2024, about seventeen years since Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord.
Q.I'm from Incendio, where does this site pick up after Incendio? A. Accio Horizons is a sequel to Incendio. It picks up right where Incendio left off. At that point we were about to start an election, and Hogwarts' new term was starting. With a few changes. Siara Brightweather is the new Headmistress in Fairy's place, and some of the professors have been changed.
Q.Can I play a canon character (charrie from the book)? A. Apologies, but canon characters aren't allowed at Accio Horizons. This allows members to create their own characters, and avoids disputes concerning the original characters from the books.
Q.Do you affiliate? A. Sure! The more the merrier, it's helpful to both sites. You can affiliate here.
Q.How can I get my Common Room password? A. Either send an owl to your Head of House, or send an owl to a staff member. We're happy to help you out
Q.Do you require classes for students? A. Students are welcome to enroll in as many classes as they'd like, but at this point they are only required to attend (and pass) ONE class per semester.
Q.Are we allowed to have house elves? A. If you're an adult, you're more than welcome to have a house elf! I have a dear fellow who helps me out around the office named Ogbert, stop in for some of his fresh baked cookies sometime!
Q.Who is the Head Bad Guy of the site? A. Shhhh, it's a secret But Laird Bane MacCorrigai, current Minister of Magic, is secretly the Neo Dark Lord.
Q.Can I be a staff member? A. Thank you for your offer to help! However, at this point we are fully staffed, and should we need another member of the team, we will open up the applications.
