Important:
Before role playing with your character, you must post your profile in the Character Application board and wait for it to be approved by a staff member. Before applying you must review all of the site rules and regulations. While you are waiting for approval, you may post in the Out of Character boards (Golden Snitch Lounge).
Site Rules
Most important: Enjoy yourself. This site was created to give people a chance to open their minds, use their imagination, and have a good time. This site and everything in it is PG rated. This means no swearing, no drug referencing, and no sexual references. Battles can be described in depth and such, but avoid gruesome or gory descriptions. All other posting must also be within the PG rating. You cannot edit a swear word in order to use it (IE: using d*mn) - this constitutes as swearing. We have children on this site, and we want to make it appropriate for all ages. Respect others. Even if you do not agree with their opinions or ideals, be respectful and open-minded. If you have a disagreement, talk it out calmly or speak with an admin.
Application/Character Rules
You are allowed ONE character per user. You are allowed more than one character, but each must have a separate account. Your username/profile name must be the same as your character. After your 2nd character, you must wait at least one month before creating another character. You may only have ONE pending character application at a time. (IE: you can't create two new characters at the same time)
RPG Rules
Do not God-mode or power play. This means controlling the actions of another character, making your character invincible or have unbelievable traits. Only at rare times may you G-mode, with the permission of the other member. Write your posts descriptively and clearly. Avoid computer slang or one-sentence posts. Once again, literacy is HIGHLY encouraged. No double posting or junk posting. Junk posting (or spamming) is when you post nonsense or worthless posts in threads for the sake of gaining ranks. 150 post points will be deducted if you are caught, after one warning. Keep within the RPG setting of Harry Potter.
You must read and comply with the Proboards Terms of Service below. If you do not, this site risks deletion, and failure to comply will result in a ban from the site.
