Perusing the Selections [Open] « Thread Started on Jul 13, 2009, 11:33am »
Marcus with a few hours free, all the up-to-date paperwork all sorted and that ink stain cleared up nicely from his waist-coat he felt he could do with a wonder about ... where better than spending it with musty old books ... not that he's not surrounded by them enough at work and so decided to visit Hogwarts as he remembered that they always kept some good books even when he was at school.
He decided to peruse the selection the stock available at the school, see if there was anything that he might not of come across back in his office. Pushing the door open and walking down the single main corridor with isle spliting many "still the same" he said to himself with a very quiet chuckle. He walked down a couple of book isle until he came to the Care of Magical Creatures section, on the section he found a book "Care and Law Basics of Dangerous Creatures" reading the title out to himself quietly, an old book he remembered reading back when he was at Hogwarts.
He found a quiet seat about four ilse down from where he found the book, it was quite tatty but with no dust which obviously must mean that it's a popular read here and often booked out by the students. It was a good solid book providing a solid grounding on the basics of care as well as covering important aspects of the law of keeping, registering and moitoring dangerous creatures.
The library seem to have picked up a little since Marcus went in, not that he could see but the slight creek in the door as you enter tells all, being a library it could do with a drop of oil or a good flick of a wand to put it right.
One thing he noticed was that time seemed to always pass very slowly in the school library he thought as he flicked through a few more pages.
